Debt collection ranks second on the FTC’s list of top consumer complaints list for 2010. This is not shocking as a typical collection activity is to pound on a debtor repeatedly until they cave in and offer up some money just to get the collection agency to leave them alone.
What is shocking is that in an industry that feels morals simply don’t apply to them, one collection agency continues to receive testimonials in lieu of complaints received by its rivals. Here is this weeks example:
